Sunrider Ranch Agricultural Business and Financial Readiness Initiative
Now Open
At Sunrider Ranch & Cultural Center, we believe that strong food systems begin with strong, resilient producers. Many farmers, ranchers, and land-based entrepreneurs—especially those in rural, Tribal, and historically underserved communities—face barriers when navigating business planning, funding opportunities, financial systems, and long-term sustainability.
The Business Development & Financial Readiness Department exists to bridge those gaps. Through education, technical assistance, and one-on-one support, we help producers build the skills, tools, and financial pathways necessary to launch, grow, and sustain successful agricultural enterprises.
Our programs support participants at every stage—from early ideas to established operations—while honoring traditional knowledge, community resilience, and economic self-sufficiency.
Meeting You Where You Are
At Sunrider Ranch & Cultural Center, we understand that every producer’s journey is different. Some individuals are just beginning to explore the idea of farming or ranching, while others may already operate established agricultural businesses but need support navigating funding, financial systems, or long-term planning.
Our goal is not to expect participants to arrive with everything figured out. Instead, we meet people where they are—offering guidance, education, and support that grows alongside their needs.
Whether someone is:
Exploring an idea for the first time
Starting a new farm or ranch operation
Expanding an existing agricultural enterprise
Seeking financial clarity or tax support
Preparing the next generation to carry their work forward
Our team works both virtually and directly on-site with producers whenever possible, ensuring support is practical, accessible, and tailored to each operation.
Sunrider Ranch provides the tools, knowledge, and connections needed to move forward with confidence. Our programs are designed to be accessible, practical, and culturally respectful, ensuring that producers from all backgrounds—especially those in rural, Tribal, and historically underserved communities—can access the resources they need to build resilient agricultural futures.
We believe that strong producers build strong food systems, and that everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed on the land.
We are here to walk alongside producers at every stage—helping turn ideas into enterprises, and enterprises into lasting legacies.
